Membership in Commercial Association of REALTORS® New Mexico (CARNM)

CARNM is a statewide Association of REALTORS® and real estate affiliates who specialize in commercial real estate, with commercial real estate serving as the cornerstone of economic development. The Association brings together commercial real estate professionals for the enhancement of ideas and projects in marketing, education, government affairs, and professional standards, “all to benefit the commercial REALTOR®.”  Members work with leaders in the business community and local, state, and national governments to foster economic growth and the passage of legislation to benefit the industry.

Member Definitions

PRIMARY MEMBERS – Realtors® who join CARNM pay national, state, and local dues to CARNM. They may also be members of another local association.

SECONDARY MEMBERS – Realtors® who join CARNM pay local dues only to CARNM. National and state dues are paid through another REALTOR® association.

SPONSORS – Firms who join CARNM have interests in commercial real estate and join in cooperation with the objectives of CARNM. Sponsors are limited to 10 per year per CARNM policy.  Please call the CARNM office at 505.503.7807 for more information.



Find a Member


  • Applicants must hold an active New Mexico Real Estate License
  • Must have no record of official sanctions involving unprofessional conduct
  • Must be affiliated with an office whose Qualifying Broker is also a CARNM member.

How to Join

Fill out the following forms:

  1. REALTOR® Application
  2. Qualifying Broker CIE Form or Associate Broker CIE Form
  3. Credit Card Authorization Form
  4. Dues Schedule
  5. Submit all forms and membership fees by email

REALTOR® Code of Ethics

Members have until 12/31/16 to complete their 2.5 hours of Code of Ethics training. NAR offers several online training options, including one that confers continuing education credit. Access training pages on NAR.REALTOR
