GREAT NETWORKING
Monthly CCIM Marketing Sessions – The first Wednesday of each month the local CCIM chapter hosts a breakfast marketing meeting. The meeting is open to all CARNM members and offers a great opportunity to hear about new properties on the market and to network with other commercial real estate professionals. These meetings begin at 7:30 a.m. and generally run until 9:00 a.m. CARNM members make presentations of properties for sale briefly describing the properties and their features. These presentations are coordinated by the local CCIM chapter and must be scheduled in advance. The CCIM chapter also assists members who are interested in seeking the national Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. More information at CCIM.
Monthly LIN (Leasing Information Network) Marketing Breakfast – These meetings are held at a different property monthly on the last Wednesday. The hosting broker provides breakfast and door prizes for drawings that are held at the end of the meeting. Periodically, a guest speaker is invited to discuss topics of interest to commercial real estate professionals. These meetings begin at 7:30 a.m. and generally run until 9:00 a.m. CARNM members make presentations of properties for lease briefly describing the properties and their features. CCIM Virtual Tour – This is a presentation that showcases commercial properties constructed within the past year and is coordinated through the local CCIM chapter.
COMMERCIAL LISTING SERVICES
Commercial Information Exchange (CIE) is a commercial property listing service for CARNM Members. This subscription based service provides the capability to list properties for sale or lease, post professional resumes, create marketing brochures for featured properties, and communicate electronically with other members. Non-CIE Members can search and view listings; however, you must be a member to post or modify listings. Click here for the public search feature.
EXCELLENT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Monthly Education Classes – CARNM sponsors educational programs geared toward the commercial real estate professional. The classes are affordable, often include lunch at no additional cost, and serve as a meaningful vehicle for members to earn their required continuing education hours. Past programs include 1031 Exchanges, Letters of Intent, Fundamentals of Commercial Real Estate, High Tech Tools for the Commercial Broker, Titles and Closings, and many more!
MEMBER INFORMATION AND CONTACTS
Membership Directory & Resource Guidee – This guide is compiled and distributed electronically that provides office and contact information for each member of CARNM and its Sponsors.
Administrative E-mails – Members receive administrative emails that provide updates regarding CARNM news, educational offerings and events, and other related information of interest to the members.
FUN STUFF
Annual CARNM Golf Classic – This event is hosted each summer to benefit the Real Estate Education Foundation (REEF). REEF is dedicated to funding higher education to foster professionalism in the commercial real estate industry.
Annual Membership Meeting – This breakfast meeting is held in November of each year. The incoming Board of Directors are sworn in by the REALTORS® Association of New Mexico. Additionally, any changes to the bylaws are voted on by the members , and the CARNM REALTOR® of the Year Award is awarded.
